The following apache modules are used to manage/shape the bandwidth:

• mod_bandwidth - Limits the bandwidth per directory/filesize/ip address.
• mod_limitipconn - Limits the number of connections an IP address can have to the server.

Why was is necessary to use these modules?

The optimal screen/windowsize for this site is 1280 by 1024 pixels
